Bpong has partnered with Bally’s Atlantic City to bring beer pong to the heart of Atlantic City! The Wild Wild West Casino, part of Bally’s Atlantic City, located at center Boardwalk, will house the new gaming area in the new entertainment venue The Main Stage. There will be 12 beer pong tables next to mechanical bull rides and free live music starting this June. Beer pong enthusiasts and casual pongers alike will be able to play 24 hours a day with BPONG gear that has set the industry standard.

“We have been planning to bring beer pong to Atlantic City for some time now,” said Billy Gaines, co-founder of BPONG.com and The World Series of Beer Pong. “Bally’s is an ideal setting for a dedicated beer pong area, and we’re excited to be a part of the Wild Wild West Casino re-vamp project. This is only the beginning of many exciting partnerships and events to come.”

Bally’s Atlantic City will offer beer pong every night of the week as an integral part of Bally’s renovation to its Wild Wild West Casino. Situated next to the stage where DJ’s and bands will perform every weekend, the BPONG beer pong area will be conveniently located right next to the Main Stage Bar so players can keep the competition going with quick and easy pitcher and cup refills.

Brunson 3rd Annual Beer Pong Invitational, LIVE from Las Vegas

Today at Hogs and Heifers, located at 201 North Third Street in Las Vegas, is the third annual Brunson Beer Pong Invitational

. The event, which is sponsored by Doyle Brunson’s online poker site DoylesRoom, will see some of the top names in our industry try their hand at an old frat party favorite.

UB.com pro Phil Hellmuth and Absolute Poker diva Trishelle Cannatella will serve as the emcees of the Brunson Beer Pong Invitational and use a bullhorn to provide commentary. The staff at Pokerati has been tasked with creating a bracket and the field is invite-only, although anyone interested in watching their favorite poker pros drink beer can come out and watch. Up for grabs are a BBQ and trophies, among other prizes.

Brunson will team with fellow DoylesRoom pro Zachary “CrazyZachary” Clark, the nephew of the late Chip Reese. Brunson’s son Todd will also be in attendance and pair with one of the online poker world’s legends, Brett “gank” Jungblut. Also representing DoylesRoom is Brunson 10 member Steve “gboro780” Gross, who sits atop the PocketFives.com Online Poker Rankings and will team with Hoyt Corkins on Wednesday in the beer pong extravaganza.

Two of the first couples of poker will compete, Erica Schoenberg and Erick Lindgren as well as Chad Brown andVanessa Rousso. Schoenberg, formerly the better half of David Benyamine, and Rousso are two of only a handful of women that will take part in the Beer Pong Invitational. Other ladies scheduled to toss ping pong balls include Full TiltPoker pro Mandy Baker, Melanie Weisner, Vanessa Peng, former “Amazing Race” contestant Tiffany Michelle, and Lisa Parsons.

On the event’s Facebook page, a bevy of poker personalities have indicated they’ll be on-hand, including Nat Arem, Pam Brunson, Lee Watkinson, Poker News Daily’s Brett Collson, GreasieWheels’ Lisa Wheeler, and poker PR guru Lara Miller, who is handling media for the Brunson 10 throughout the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

Last year, Dan “Wretchy” Martin and Peter “#1PEN” Neff bested Todd Brunson and Jungblut in the finals. Here’s a look at several of the teams that will take to the beer pong tables on Wednesday, according to the event’s Facebook page:

The third annual Brunson Beer Pong Invitational serves as a lead-in to the 2010 WSOP, which kicks off on Friday with the first two of 57 bracelet events. Accordingly, the beer pong festivities will be filmed by ESPN and air as part of the network’s WSOP coverage.

ATLANTIC CITY — The motionless hookers are out and a mechanical bull is in at Bally’s Atlantic City.
The beer pong drinking game and hot wings will feature prominently, as will casino floor dancers called The Vixens.

It’s all part of a $1.5 million renovation that will include the first mechanical bull ride at an Atlantic City casino.

The upgrade is designed to eliminate out-of-date parts of the western-themed Wild Wild West Casino. Animatronic people — including two hookers beckoning from the Lillie Mae’s Social Club bordello — and animals that no longer work will get the boot.

Casino officials say there are no longer any repair personnel who can fix them.
“The Wild Wild West Casino is a much loved and important part of the Bally’s brand,” said Joe Domenico, the casino’s senior vice president and general manager of Bally’s Atlantic City. “This project provides us the opportunity to bring our entertainment, nightlife and gaming opportunities to a new level without diminishing the charm and essence found at the Wild Wild West Casino.”

Part of that charm and essence will come from an area with 12 tables set up for beer pong, in which contestants try to bounce pingpong balls into cups of beer and make opposing players drink when they score.
New slot machines and table games will be added as part of the project, which begins next month and should be finished before July 4.

The western theme will live on, though, with a stage where country and other types of bands will play free concerts.

Bally’s spent $110 million to build the Wild Wild West, which opened in 1997 and was Atlantic City’s first themed casino.

There’s another mechanical bull in a sports bar inside The Pier Shops at Caesars, a non-casino shopping and entertainment complex.
