Deadly Beer Pong - How A Game of Beer Pong Ended in Murder

Posted on 04 May 2009 by Jordan

While beer pong is a serious sport, it has been taken to a whole new level in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. A 25 year old Scott Riley was found on the ground and bleeding from the neck at 11:40 pm last Friday night following an alleged altercation over a game of beer pong. His opponent that night, Joseph Brian Jimenez, is the one alleged to have shot Riley with a .40 caliber.

Deadly Beer Pong

Philly.com alleges that the fight started when the teams disagreed who had to drink the beer after the beer pong game was finished. The argument was so heated that they went outside where Riley allegedly stated dared Jimenez to shoot him. Jimenez did just that and ended up in the challenge and is being held without bail at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

For the record, the losing team should have finished the beer. So, if you find yourself on the losing end of a heated beer pong game - make sure you finish your cups … it might save your life.

I am the sister of Scott Riley who was killed by this maniac.

I am 100% sure that Scott was probably NOT the one who wouldn’t finish a beer. He would have gladly finished the beer if he was on the losing team. He was a good sport, an all-around fun guy who loved everyone, including the shit that shot and killed him.

We are so sorry for your loss. Thanks for clarifying that up and we hope that justice is served - hard.

First of all let me say also, we’re sorry for your loss.

But let’s be honest, she didn’t clarify anything, she simply guessed that he probably wasn’t the one who wouldn’t finish his beer. That’s not clarifying anything, it’s just a guess.

No one is right… this had NOTHING to do with who would or would not have drank that beer… and im not saying this cause im guessing… Im saying this cause i was with all of them at that house playing beer pong less then 15 minutes before all this shit started… I was one of the only ones not drinking that night… but all were relaxed and having a good time… Scott would have never thought that jimenez would do something like that… they were close… but its a shame he had to do it… just think what scotts kids’ lives will be like with out this really great guy…

    RIP scott…

In agreement with alena and outsider, Scott was not afraid of much, if anything at all. He saved my life, and he knew what he did. And to answer your riddle douchebag, that’s how Scott, or should I say Fat Dude, was. As I said before, he wasn’t afraid of much. Unfortunately for those of us who knew him, we lost a great friend. So if anybody else wants to say something negative, come to Bridgeport and say it to us, not hiding behind your computer screen.
